The August 8th Mystery: A-Poppy-playtime-5

Ten years ago, every single person walked out of the Playtime Co. toy factory on the same afternoon - and never came back. Young investigator Cameron Wallace, who interned there as a teenager, returns to find the lights still on, the calendars still frozen on August 8, and the toys still patiently waiting. To his shock, the toys can talk, and they want the mystery solved as badly as he does. Following a trail of stopped clocks, a dusty visitor log, a hidden game-clue and a stack of old security tapes, Cameron and his unlikely toy partners uncover a single missing hour - and a sealed wing nobody has opened in a decade. The answer isn't a monster or a crime. It's a safety alarm, a hurried evacuation, and a promise that was never kept - until Cameron decides to keep it himself.
